Community Guidelines (English)

Stagee is a stage for everyone. To keep it that way, clear rules apply – the same for all.

Respect

• No insults, harassment, bullying or threats.
• No hate speech or incitement against people or groups because of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age – this includes believers and religious communities.

Extremism

• No unconstitutional symbols or slogans, no glorification of violence or terror, no recruitment for extremist groups – whether right-wing, left-wing or religiously motivated.
• Calls to violence lead to an immediate suspension and may be reported to the authorities.

Safety and youth protection

• No nudity and no sexual content.
• No overly revealing depictions; stricter standards apply to under-18s.
• No sexualised depictions of minors and no grooming – blocked immediately and escalated.
• No graphic violence, dangerous challenges, or calls for or instructions on self-harm. If you are struggling, free help is available (in Germany: 0800 111 0 111, Telefonseelsorge).

Religious content

Stagee is a place for entertainment, not for religious promotion. Religious content, proselytising and advertising for faith communities are therefore not intended on Stagee and are reviewed or removed. Content about Jesus Christ, Christianity and the Bible is exempt. The rule applies regardless of who posts, is checked by humans and can be adjusted by us; factual comments, news and art are assessed case by case.

Honesty

• No spam, fake accounts or fraud.
• No deception to get gifts; no pressure on viewers to spend money.

Rights of others

• Only use music, videos and images you have the rights to.
• Do not publish other people’s private data.

Automated review and strikes

• Automated moderation checks uploads, profile pictures, live streams, chat, comments, names and bios.
• If something is flagged you are told the reason and category and can appeal; a person reviews the appeal.
• We use warning → temporary suspension → permanent ban. Particularly severe violations (e.g. calls to violence, sexualised depictions of minors) lead to an immediate suspension.
• In severe cases, content tied to the account may be passed on to law enforcement.

Reporting and consequences

Report violations in two taps via “Report” on clips, comments, lives or profiles. Our team reviews every report. Depending on severity we remove content, mute or ban accounts – permanently if necessary.
